My favourite music band is the Rolling Stones. I have all their albums. The Rolling Stones is a rock-and-roll band that was created in 1962 in England. Although The Stones, as they are known, have been on the stage for more than forty years, they are still active and play concerts that attract crowds. The original members of the band were: Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, Keith Richards, and Mick Jagger, who is the band’s vocalist and the most recognizable member.

The band was formed by Jagger and Richards, two friends that had known each other since primary school. Although the members of the band changed over the years, the two central figures still form the core of the band. The Rolling Stones is currently the most famous British music band. One of their best-known songs are '(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction', 'Gimmie Shelter', 'Jumpin' Jack Flash', and 'Hot Stuff'. In their career they released 55 albums and numerous singles.

They are often compared to another world-famous British band – the Beatles – and are seen as the 'bad boys' of rock and roll. They earned this title thanks to the criminal offences for drug possession that they were charged with. The topic of drug use is present in their songwriting. Brian Jones died shortly after leaving the band in 1969 in the circumstances that for a long time remained unclear, as he was found dead in his swimming pool. It is suspected that he was murdered. The Stones were named by a renowned American music magazine Rolling Stone as one of the greatest artists of all time and many of their albums as the greatest albums of all time. In 2008 a documentary film about the band was released, called 'Shine a Light'. It was directed by a famous American film director, Martin Scorsese.
