In my town there is only one park but it is a very beautiful place. It a favourite place of many inhabitants of the town, especially mothers and their children.

The park is located in the south of town, on Kościuszki street, opposite a bank. It is not a big park. It is square. On its perimeter there is a red fence made of metal that is quite old. You can enter the park through one of the two gates located opposite each other. It is open all day long.

The first thing that you notice when you enter the place is the fact that it is very green. There are a lot of trees, mostly chestnut trees and oaks, and a lot of grass. The park looks very beautiful in autumn when the leaves of the trees change their colours. You can hear a lot of birds singing and sometimes see a squirrel.

In the middle of the park there is a place where children can play. There is a big yellow slide, and next to it there is a merry-go-round. There are also some swings. In the corner of the park there is a sandbox where small children can play. But that’s not all that the park has to offer. It is a perfect place to play hide-and-seek. You can also ride a bike or rollerblade along the alleys that are in the park. Parents can sit on one of the many benches while they are looking after their children. Finally, people can just go there to take walks among the trees.

The park is a great place to spend your time and play but there are some rules you have to obey while you are there. First of all, you mustn’t shout or scream and have to be quiet, so that you don’t annoy other people. You also cannot go to a park with your dog or other animal. It is not the right place to take your pet for a walk. You have to remember that everyday at nine o'clock PM the gates are closed and no one can be in the park during the night.

Pierwsza rzecz, która rzuca się w oczy po wejściu do tego miejsca, to fakt, że jest bardzo zielone. Jest tam wiele drzew, głównie kasztanowców i dębów i dużo trawy. Park wygląda pięknie na jesień, kiedy liście drzew zmieniają kolory. Można usłyszeć śpiew wielu ptaków, a czasem zobaczyć wiewiórkę.

Na środku parku jest miejsce, gdzie dzieci mogą się bawić. Jest tam duża żółta zjeżdżalnia, a obok niej karuzela. Jest tam także kilka huśtawek. W rogu parku znajduje się piaskownica, gdzie mogą się bawić małe dzieci. Ale to nie wszystko, co park ma do zaoferowania. Jest to idealne miejsce do zabawy w „chowanego”. Po znajdujących się w parku alejkach można jeździć na rowerze albo na rolkach. Rodzice mogą usiąść na jednej z wielu ławek w czasie, gdy opiekują się dziećmi. Na koniec, ludzie mogą tam pójść, aby po prostu pospacerować między drzewami.

Park to świetne miejsce, gdzie można spędzić wolny czas i bawić się, ale są pewne zasady, do których trzeba się stosować, kiedy się tam jest. Po pierwsze, nie wolno krzyczeć czy wrzeszczeć i należy zachowywać się cicho, aby nie działać na nerwy innym. Do parku nie wolno także przyprowadzać psów czy innych zwierząt. To nie jest odpowiednie miejsce na spacer ze zwierzakiem. Trzeba pamiętać, że codziennie, o dziewiątej wieczorem, bramy są zamykane i nikomu nie wolno znajdować się w parku w nocy.
