I like weekends a lot because I have a lot of free time then. I don’t usually get up before ten o’clock. After I get up and eat breakfast, I check my e-mail messages and visit Internet pages. I always start with news sites. I don’t watch news on television or read any newspapers but the Internet lets me learn about the current affairs. I also visit some of my favourite blogs.

Sometimes, if I have nothing else to do, I go on YouTube and watch some funny videos which people post there. If some of my friends are online, I often chat with them using Gadu-Gadu. I love the Internet. I think it is very useful. When I use it, I usually turn on the radio and listen to some music. Later I often do some work in the garden. We have a big garden and there is always something that needs to be done there. My parents often tell me to mow the lawn. It is a hard work, especially if it is hot, because our lawnmower is heavy and there is a lot of walking to be done.

I also do some other things. Together with my dad we cut tree branches so that the trees look nice. We also have a hedge that needs trimming from time to time. In our garden there are two apple-trees and when the apples are ripe and red, someone has to pick them. Someone, that is me, of course. When the autumn comes, the leaves fall on the ground and we have to get rid of them. After working in the garden, me and my parents eat dinner. After that I often meet with my friends. Sometimes we go to the cinema but most often we go cycling together. We ride along the nearby country lanes and through the forest. Sometimes we can spot squirrels which look at us with interest. In the evening I usually sit in front of TV and watch some film or TV series. My favourite show is 'CSI: Miami'. After that I sometimes go online again but only for a short time.

Moi rodzice często każą mi skosić trawnik. To ciężka praca, zwłaszcza jeśli jest gorąco, ponieważ nasza kosiarka jest ciężka i trzeba dużo chodzić.
