The girl is standing on the border between the sea and the land with one of the boys. He has his arm around her. The other boy is sitting on the sand looking at the other two. They're all facing the sea. The girl has long dark hair. She is wearing a red dress with a floral pattern and sunglasses. The boy standing next to her is much taller than she is. He has no shirt on, only yellow and navy shorts. The one sitting on the sand has a grey towel round his hips and some sand on his back.

To me, the standing two are a couple; they are in love with each other. The boy sitting down looks at the girl with sentiment and jealousy. He might want to be with her too, but has to stand the view of her with another man. He's probably sad and hurt. Those three might have gone on holiday as friends only and now they've fallen for each other and one of the boys is left behind. He surely is feeling lonely and cheerless. They were supposed to enjoy summer together but now his holidays are spoiled.

On the other hand, he might not be in love with her. Instead, he might just be hurt to be left behind by a couple; he could be feeling like he was disturbing them. No matter what, his holiday seems to be ruined.

Dla mnie dwójka stojących to para; są w sobie zakochani. Siedzący chłopak patrzy na dziewczynę z sentymentem i zazdrością. Może on też chce z nią być, a musi znosić jej widok z innym. Prawdopodobnie jest smutny i zraniony. Ta trójka mogła wybrać się na wakacje jako tylko przyjaciele, a teraz się sobie spodobali i jeden z chłopców jest zostawiony z boku. Na pewno czuje się samotny i niepocieszony. Mieli razem cieszyć się latem, a teraz ma zepsute wakacje.

Z drugiej strony, może nie być w niej zakochany. Zamiast tego może czuć się urażony byciem zostawionym z boku przez parę; może czuć się jakby im przeszkadzał. Tak czy owak, jego wakacje wydają się być zepsute.
